Private Training
Private training allows for the most customization. Learn what you need to learn with flexible scheduling in the comfort of your own home. All private sessions start with a consultation, where we can meet one on one and develop an action plan together.
Behavior Modification
Behavior issues are a common problem that can occasionally cause a disconnect in the bond between owner and dog. With behavior modification, we focus on getting to the root of the problem so that we can develop a plan to rehabilitate or manage behaviors more effectively.
Group Classes
Group classes are a great way to learn new things while having the ability to socialize your dog. Teaching your dog new things in a group setting offers a chance for you to work your dog around controlled distractions.
Board and Train
Not everybody has the time to dedicate daily training for their dog, or you may encounter an issue you are finding difficult to train. Heartdog Obedience Academy LLC offers board and train options. Your dog will be a guest in our home and learn house manners as well as obedience. All board and train clients receive photos and videos of the training process, as well as training reports and private sessions. Once your dog is trained, you will be taught how to maintain the obedience.
Overnight Boarding
We all hate going away and leaving our dogs behind, but sometimes it just can’t be avoided. We welcome crate trained dogs into our home for overnight boarding. They will receive lots of love, attention and play time every day – it’s like a vacation for them too! Owners receive daily updates along with photos and videos. Skip the large boarding facilities, and relax knowing that your dog is enjoying his stay as a part of our family.
Drop-in Sitting
If you need to be away, and your pets are most comfortable in their own home, we can come and let out, play, walk, and feed your pets. We have experience with many types of pets, and can accommodate accordingly.
Dog Walking
Whether you work long hours, or you just don’t have the energy to take your dog for a walk, we can help! We can set up a time to come and take your dog for a walk. Walking helps your dog release pent up energy as well as get all of the benefits of taking in some fresh air!
Workshops
If you don’t have a time or need for group or private training, but need some help with a few things here and there, we offer periodic workshops, where we train and focus on just one or two topics at a time.
Seminars
Periodic seminars are held at various locations. We talk about different topics with the goal of helping owners to understand how to provide the best care and better understand their dogs and their behaviors.
